Santiago Market

Location: On corner of Calles 57 and 70, next to the church and park with the same name.

Mercado de Santiago, Santiago Market, is located in the Santiago neighborhood.   A small, well stocked Mercado; it carries most of the perishables you could dream of: vegetables, fruits, flowers, meats, dairy products, spices, recadas (spice mixes), clothing and religious goods.

The food court in the market offers a range of eating options, for breakfast and lunch, at a central section filled with small restaurant stalls with huge signs denoting place names: “La Tia”, “El Tio Mike” and Loncheria La Lupita.   The Mercado is a great place to spend the morning grocery shopping and having a bite to eat.
