Adri celebrated her big 13th birthday in Chicago, Illinios. We started out the the night at Maya del Sol Restaurant in Oak Park, IL. This restaurant is one of our favorites everything is wonderful; the ceviches are to die for, the fish tacos are delicious, the yucca fries and on and on I could go. We go every time we in town and this is where Adri wanted her big birthday dinner. Set up reservations if going on the weekend because after 6 it is packed. Which I did and I had informed them that our daughter wanted to come all the way from Michigan to have her birthday dinner there when I set up the reservation – which is how the dessert with her name and that came into being and it was free their normal free birthday dessert that they dressed up for her. Love them. We even had the same waiter we had the last time, a year prior, and he remembered us!
